  • Why do I have to register for an account?
    • Registering for an account allows us to offer the best possible service to our clients with our very limited handmade designs. If you simply want to see our jewelry designs, our “UPDATES” section have LARGE photos with nearly the same information.

    • Does everyone get approved?
      • As long as you fill out the very simple form with a LEGITIMATE FIRST AND LAST NAME WITH A WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS, and your email does NOT bounce, your account will get activated.
      • Unfortunately, we are unable to activate accounts from originating from Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, the Russian Federation, South America, and Africa. This does not mean we do not accept orders from those countries; it just means prospective clients would just need to contact us to set up arrangements.
      • Paypal or our merchant (credit card) processor may also block certain orders from certain countries due to them categorizing those countires as “high risk.”  Please email us if you have any questions before registering for clarification.
    • How quickly will my account activation take?
      • In most cases, your account will be activated within a few hours. At the longest, 1 day.
    • What is it made of? What is this clay?
      • The “artist clay” have many names and come in various different forms. As we have trained with Japanese fine art clay, we use professional Japanese clay as a matter of familiarity and convenience.
    • What are your chains made of?
      • The majority of our chains are gold plated with a brass core.  The gold plating is done in house as 3rd party plating companies simply couldn’t be trusted.  As a very small jewelry maker, they didn’t take our order serious enough to ensure that we received properly plated chains so we brought the gold plating of our hardware in house.
    • Do you do custom orders?
      • We no longer accept custom orders except only in extremely limited and rare occasions.
    • How durable are these designs?
      • As is with any item you may purchase (hand crafted or mass produced), the measurement of durability on any item is dependent upon the user. That said, our clay designs are, in the majority of the cases, more durable than any fine jewelry that you may have. As each item is constructed by hand, layer by layer, piece by piece, there is a lot more attention paid to the quality of each piece than you may find in mass produced / machined pieces.
    • I see that an item is out of stock, can I order it anyway?
      • The general rule of thumb is that if you can add it your cart and check out, the order will be received and honored regardless of what anything else says on that page.  However, we try to update the jewelry page with the most accurate information.  Usually, there will be a notice near the top that will show that the item is available for immediate shipping or that it is a pre-order design.
    • How quickly do you ship?
      • If the design piece you would like is in stock, we typically ship within 1 business day. On occasion, if we are at a convention or a tradeshow, (although highly unlikely) shipping may be delayed an additional day.
      • Pre-order designs (a.k.a. reservation) will typically ship in 2-3 weeks after the order is received.
      • If you have any shipping requirements or conditions, please contact us by email (shop@bbandb.net) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
    • Where do you ship?
      • We currently ship within the U.S., Canada, and most of Europe. If you reside in a country outside of those areas, please contact us to arrange shipping to you.
    • Do you work with bloggers / influencers / reviewers /YouTube stars / etc?
      • Yes, on a very limited basis. Please email us at shop@bbandb.net if you believe your channel/blog is a good fit for us.
    • Do you wholesale or work with any resellers?
      • We, unfortunately, cannot for the moment.  Due to the nature of our jewelry, it is currently impossible to produce a large enough quantity to make it mutually beneficial for both the reseller and ourselves.
    • Do you sell anywhere else?
      • BB and B only sells on our website and at certain tradeshows and conventions which will be announced on our UPDATES page or on our member’s only newsletter.
    • I have seen your jewelry on some secondhand websites and markets. How can I verify that they’re BB and B jewelry?
      • We are pleased to see some of our jewelry pieces receive a 2nd life at being loved by someone else. That said, should you have any questions about a piece that is being sold by a 3rd party, please visit this page for some additional information. SECONDHAND MARKET
