We are pleased to introduce to you our latest Dark Sweets collections that feature a decadent Dark Cake Tart and a rebirth of our Goth Ganache and the Devil’s Soft Serve!
The Dark Cake Tart features a 3 tier layer with a black tart base and deep black ganache cream whipped around the top. That whip makes up the base for a decadent black cake that drips with additional black ganache! Swarovski rhinestones add some evil but beautiful bling to the base of the 3rd layer where our “blessed” strawberry sits,… eternally radiant in its deep blood red glory.
And in case you didn’t notice, a cute silver skull sits tying it all together, kind of like the final ribbon of a design.
The Dark Madame Macarons are the next iteration of our Madame Marie necklaces combined with our popular Goth Ganache macarons from way back when. Featuring one of our popular crystal spiders and handmade roses, punchy red raspberries accent the necklace in between all of the beautifully dark shades of black.
And last but not least, we also brought back our Devil’s Soft Serve series but with new Swarovski rhinestones in an absolutely gorgeous purple. Think Prince eating Soft Serve ice cream, or on the cover of Purple Rain on that motorcycle. We’ve also updated the clay that is used and the soft serve ice cream inspired in part by our last visit to Little Damage.
The Dark Sweets
This is easily one of our favorite seasons of the year because we get to break out of the routine and create lovely dark jewelry pieces that fit the change of the weather from the bright and sunny days of Summer, to the moody and gloomy skies of Fall.
We enjoyed the process of trying to make the mold of a children’s candy and turning it into a necklace or ring (The Crowned Ghost Candy) and we absolutely loved how our Potion Bottle turned out, glowing rock crystals and all!
And of course, we can’t forget our Witch’s Tear macarons,… something that was sketched out on a flight back from a convention and we pieced together all the pieces to create something that was, amusingly, a lot harder than we had initially thought.
