We are excited to be not only be able to return to Otakon but to offer a Sweet Deco workshop in our own dedicated and convenient room for you!

Sweet Deco Workshops at Otakon 2025

Otakon was kind enough to level up our sweet deco workshops by giving us our own room!

Because of this arrangement, BB and B is pleased to offer a couple of “advanced” classes where the participant will have the opportunity to create possibly their own cell phone cases or phone charms, along with the usual assortment of goods to decorate!

Please note the following:

  • To create your Sweet Creations, Sue (designer owner of BB and B) will oversee a number of sessions herself. These specific sessions will be on a reservation basis and will require a $5 non-refundable fee to hold your seat.  As part of our agreement, no other fees will be required for these specific classes.
  • The DIY Sweet Deco room will have open hours (to be finalized and approved).  You are welcome to come any time to design and create your own sweet masterpiece for just $25-$30!
    • There are some limitations on seating so if you have a group of participants who wish create your own sweets together, we strongly recommend making a reservation.
  • A Sweet Deco Buffet will be available for all to choose all of the cute cabochons you’d like to use in your sweet creation! Swarovski crystals will be used for one of our advanced classes (to be determined).

We will be opening the reservation portal on June 30 at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT.  Room map/information will also be made available at that time (it will be in the Marriott Marquis).

Ronova

Our sister brand, Ronova, is honored to be returning to Otakon’s Fashion Show! They will be bringing some pieces from the ALA Fashion Show featuring the very wide panier dresses and invite you to stop by the booth (same booth #1409) to view these pieces.

Ronova ALA Fashion Show 2025

Ronova is currently looking for models to work with both for Otakon’s fashion show and for a photo shoot in the DMV area.  We are hoping to work with models who would be ok with more of a fitted/measured look.  It would mean a bit more communication with Sue so responsiveness will be more important.
